RURAL PLANNING PROJECTS
A few examples of projects we've worked on within the rural sector.
LAND AT BROADVIEW CROSS, CHITTLEHAMHOLT
We recently secured full planning permission for a major free-range egg production unit with temporary supervisory dwelling near Chittlehamholt in the District of North Devon.
We prepared full plans and supporting statements to accompany this application; monitoring it throughout the planning process to deal with any problems that arose.
NEWLANDS FARM, YOULSTONE, BUDE
CPG were successful in obtaining planning approval for a new dairy unit and slurry pit at Newlands Farm, Youlstone.
Negotiations on farm waste and environmental impact were crucial to getting the right decision.
A lot of knowledge was gained which we are able to use for future projects in a specialist area where planning is becoming a lot more complex.
FRANKABOROUGH FARM, BROADWOODWIDGER, LIFTON
Clayewater Planning Group used Policy DM27 of the North Devon and Torridge Local Plan to secure planning approval for a rural building to full residential use.
Policy DM27 is consistent with Part Q of National legislation but allows any rural building, structurally capable of conversion to go to full residential use as long as other sustainability criteria are met.
